Whether I’m presenting a youth mental health keynote to school staff, running a professional development workshop on student behaviour and mental health, or speaking at a parent education night, I bring three decades of real classroom experience – including nearly six years teaching inside a youth psychiatric unit – and research that comes directly from teens in crisis. Not assumptions. Not theory. What young people actually said they needed from the adults in their lives.
